Appleton Campbell is currently seeking candidates for a our apprenticeship program. The ideal candidate is energetic and eager to learn. This position has endless growth potential and for the right candidate could mean advancement in as little as 6 months.

Duties include but not limited to:  

Receiving and Inspection:  - Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of deliveries. - Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.

Inventory Management: - Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management software. - Help organize and arrange inventory to optimize space utilization.

 - Filing, tracking, and managing warranty, and labor claims

 - Invoicing

 - Filing returns for materials, equipment and tracking the credits

Order Picking and Packing: - Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery to customers. - Ensure orders are properly labeled and prepared for shipping.

Warehouse Organization: - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse layout. - Ensure products are stored safely and in designated locations.

Loading and Unloading: - Safely move and stack materials within the warehouse.

 - Helping out when needed when there is down time like answering phones, talking to techs, helping with checking in deliveries ect.

Assist in Shipping: - Coordinate with shipping carriers and prepare shipments for outbound delivery. - Help with the loading of delivery vehicles.

Safety Compliance: - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. - Participate in safety training and drills as required.

Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required. - Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures. - Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management (Excel knowledge is a plus but not a requirement)Physical Requirements: - Stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods. - Bend, stoop, reach, and use hands and arms to handle and manipulate objects. - Visual acuity to read labels, documents, and inspect inventory. - Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions typical of a warehouseenvironment.
